From themind of critic: “If we played the game of telephone when we were kids, do we understand its implications as adults? Do we know kids say the darndest things, because we did? Did we think it was funny to see how changed and messed up a phrase got, but failed to see it mutate, evolve and adapt into our social media, 24hour news cycle, fast food, I want eveyrthing yesterday culture? If kids evolve into adults, and adults into politicians, does the game of telephone become infinitely more dangerous when nuclear bombs, worldly influence and seperate justice systems are at our disposal? It was fun to come up with a phrase, whisper it in our neighbor’s ear, than to their neighbor and so on. It was as if we were creating our own mad lib. Once it went around the circle, everyone couldn’t wait to see how different the end phrase was, and laugh out how crazy it ended up. We thought, how could somebody hear one thing and say another? How could a perfectly worded and bland message, turn into an excitable laugh line? Once we realize the more mouths, minds and wallets pertinent information has to pass through before it reaches our ears, the more skewed it becomes, we’ll see with all the outside influence that goes into creating a news story and the multiple entities who have a say, we might have to takle everything with a grain of salt, but if we don’t consciously search for truth, we’ll never find it. Games don’t change as we age, implications and consequences do. The game of telephone can be fun, but only when we understand it’s fictional. Truth does matter and it does exist, but only if we believe it so. Breaking cycles, prevents catastrophe.” 🙂

From the mind of critic: “Do we punch a time clock, because we really wanna punch the clock? Are we so upset about getting screwed over and focibly cemented in survival mode, that we know the importance of the clock because it pays us, but still our anger makesus wanna punch the shit out of it? Are we upset we’ve wasted and killed so much time along our journey, that we undertsand the concept of spending time, but are still angry because we’re just realizing it now, so we punch the time clock? Do we punch a time clock not because os lost glories, or seemingly permanent survival mode anger, but because it’s the physical embodiment of doing what we have to do, so we can do what we wanna do? Metaphore can help us explain unexplainable concepts, but can also get us caught up on langauge, instead of the actual concept. Clocking in, working and then clokcing out is part of the human experience. Once we realize anger doesn’t progress us forward specifically because we can’t think straight, we’ll see being positive in metaphor and action, opens the door to not only opportunity and enlightenment, but ushers in the true motivation every human soul craves. Punching somthing is only positive, if we knockout negativity. Survival mode ceases to be permanent, when we remember it’s only temporary. We prevent regret, by taking conscious action. Anger leads to self sabotage, while inner joy leads to collective evolution.” 🙂

From the mind of critic: “If moving is one of the biggest pain in the ass tasks of life, is it because we’re forced to confront how much shit we really have? Do we ignore how much of a mess we’ve really made, until we’re forced to clean it up? Is it tedious to put all our stuff in boxes, forcing us to decide what to keep and what to toss? Is the extreme difficulty of this stage, directly linked to us keeping stuff we don’t need, by way of ignoring if we’ll actually use it, which is what caused it to collect dust in the corner? Would we have saved a lot of time if we thought about what to keep at the time of accumulation, instead of all at once at the end? Putting our entire life into boxes and trucks can be hard enough, without thinking of what to keep. The longer we put something off the harder it becomes, which is the exact reason ignorance can be defined as bliss. Once we realize life is hard, especially when dealing with unexpected things at unepected times, we’ll see nothing should be too easy or overly hard, if we treat ourselves with kindness and gratitude, which provides not only motivation for our soul to sing, but for the masses to listen. Moving is only a pain in the ass, if we’re comfortable with not evolving. Molehills only become mountains, when we ignore what’s in front of our face. Being grateful for what we have, keeps ignorance off our radar. Being mindful not only makes our future brighter, it reveals the true beauty of our present.” 🙂

From the mind of critic: “If we can’t teach an old dog new tricks, can we teach a new dog old tricks? Is it easier to show somebody who thinks they know everything that they know nothing, or somebody who thinks they know nothing that they do know something? Do older contributing human beings have more evolutionary societal effect than younger, or is consciousness specifically not measurable because it changes from person to person? Getting set in our ways can inhibit our personal consciousness journey, just like getting steered onto the wrong path can, when we’re fed false information as we’re learning about the world. None of us are better than anybody else, just like none of us have all the answers. Finding balance between what we do know and what we don’t know yet, is the key to not blocking opportunites that may surprise us. Once we realize that so many worldy problems are complex, that we need an infinite pronged attack from infinite angles, we’ll see we must never put somebody down for something they don’t know, because chances are they know something we don’t know. Unity involves the realization that we all have a purpose, and helping somebody find theirs, can help us find ours. Old dogs can teach young dogs and vice versa, the utilization of which ushers evolution. We all start contributing, when we conclude we all play for the same team. Life teaches us many lessons, the first of which is to look in the mirror before we open our mouths.” 🙂

From the mind of critic: If we preach family values and the accuracy of our moral compass, does that apply to all families, or just ours? Do we belive all families needto be defended and cherished, so they can be together through good times and bad, or just ours? Do we say all families should be together, so kids can be loved and feel loved, motivating them to be well adjusted, fulfilled and upstanding and positive contributing members of society, or just ours? Is hypocrisy woven into the human fabric, or is it learned through experience? The fact that babies getting ripped from their parents, before being seperated with absolutely no way of being traced, only to have these same kids defend themselves in court because they don’t have to be appointed an attorney, the fact that’s even a thing in 21st century America, makes me violently nauseous. The only reason this is happening is because these kids aren’t white. Trumpist lawmakers will say we have to uphiold the law, which they are, but with zero humanity, because the people they’re dealing with they don’t view as humans. Would they have this same policy if these kids were white? I’m not saying this government is racist, but if the shoe fits…….? Listen, we have 35% voting rates in this country, because people assume all politicans will lie to them so what’s the point. If we continously lie to ourselves, it’s no wonder our politicians do. If we were more honest, we could have 70-80% voting rates like other countries, imagine how different things would be. First we have to care what happens to others, that is our first step. Valuing family, means valuing the entire human family equally. We only worry the country is getting darker demographically , if our heart is already dark. There is a special place in hell for Trumpist kid rippers, and the devil is licking his chops. Hypocrisy dissappears fromour radar, when humanity appears.” 🙂

From the mind of critic: “If we’re passionately moving toward our dreams and aspirations, are our corresponding actions based on those dreams and aspirations, or fact based evidence? If we base our routine on what builds us up or tears us down, do we act from imagination, or what is? Do we build up in our mind the life we want, organizing every detail so there aren’t surprises or unturned stones? There is only so much we can prepare for, only so much outlining, research and blueprinting we can do, before the rubber must hit the road. Finding our passion is one thing, working our passion is another, while making a living at our passion is quite another. Just because we imagined how our life should be, doesn’t mean it’ll work out, or in the form we expect. We must be willing to balance what we want to do with what we need to do, but if we want success in life, love or career, we must be willing to put in the work, while practicing self kindness so we’re motivated to keep going if we stumble, or aren’t accomplishing fast enough. Great things happen to those who wait, only when waiting involves action. Being open to opportunities as they come along, is the physical act of expecting the unexpected. Putting in work doesn’t guarantee success, but inaction does guarantee failure. To believe in our dreams, means believing in ourselves.” 🙂

From the mind of critic: “Does celebrating independence day have to do with a free country, or a free mind? Does a free mind have to be accomplished first to have effect, specifically because only a free mind could think up a free country, let alone fight for it, hold it, and continously build it better? Does a free country have to be accomplished first, because finding our way out of simply surviving, is the freedom to not be on edge every second, waiting for the other shoe to drop? Do free minds and free countries have to be accomplished simultaneously, because only a free mind could think up a free country, and only a free country could make use of a free mind? En Vougue said, “free your mind, and the rest will follow.” In a time of dramatically lessening freedoms, trending us away from the as of yet unrealized dream of what it means to be American, it’s important to remember what freedom means, and how it’s only real if that definition carries for all of us. Freeing our mind, simply means critically thinking about what’s affecting us, not just our side or our team. Once we realize all of us deserve life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness by virtue of being a human being within American borders, we’ll see a free country can only be attained, if it continously gets more free by way of truth, humanism and accountability, not less by way of lies, persecution and backroom deals. Freedom is free, free of oppression and inequality. A truly free country wants its people to be smarter and healthier, not less. What follows after we free our minds, is the first day of the rest of our lives. Critical thought equals critical action, because we love ourselves enough to look in the mirror.” 🙂

From the mind of critic: “If what we say to ourselves equals what we do to ourselves, how come we’re more negative to ourselves than our friends? If kind words and support are so beneficial to the people we care about, that we physically see how greatly it improves their lives, why such dark ugliness in our personal inner dialogue? Would we say to kids what we say to ourselves, would we end up in jail if we did? If the answer is no, we must ask ourselvs why. Do we feel undeserving of good vibes, because we haven’t surpassed some self imposed artificial bar of excellence? Are we tougher on ourselves, because we feel it’s the only way to get our grass as green as our neighbors? Kind self talk is the single biggest thing we can do not only for our emotional well being, but also our chance for success. Since we all go through low points from time to time, finding the strength to carry on can be extremely difficult, especially when we view friends, family and others as happier and more successful than us. We must remember that not everyone is as happy as they seem, and just because we haven’t found what we’re looking for yet, doesn’t mean we never will or that we’re undeserving, unless our imbedded self talk drones on that we are. Lonliness is hard, but not nearly as much as a toxic relationship. The reason joy is long lasting, is because it starts within us. Loving ourselves doesn’t guarantee we’ll find the love of our life, but it opens us up to the possibility. We see light at the end of the tunnel, when we realize the tunnel doesn’t exist.” 🙂

from the mind of critic:                “If one of the secrets of success is controlling our emotions, not being controlled by them, is being a robot the only way to end up on the side of the fence with the greener grass? Do we have to hide what we truly feel, because acting inhuman is the only way to be successful enough that we have the freedom to be human? Do we have to blurt out everything we think and feel, so people know exactly where we stand? Is the key admitting we’re not perfect, because the more conscious effort we use to balance controlling our emotions, with allowing ourselves to feel our true feelings, allows us to let them go if they’re not useful? Just when we think we have a handle on life, that handle breaks of and we fall flat on our face. We’ll never be perfect, there will be times when we act out when we know we shouldn’t, and sit quiet when we know we shoud have acted out. Once we realize controlling our emotions, means remembering our priorities and what’s for our highest good in any situation, we’ll see that hanging on to any emotion good or bad beyond its usefulness is how our emotions control us, but recognizing them for their usefulness anb then letting them go, is how we control them. Feeling our feelings, means remembering when to let them go. Our grass can be as green as our neighbor’s, when we realize we use the same grass seed. We acheive the freedom to be human, when we decipher our emotions, Honesty is the best policy, because it grounds us.” 🙂

From the mind of critic: “If the big wheel in the sky keeps turning no matter what, do we affect its trajectory? Do we slow it by waving at our neighbors, handwriting letters and having face to face interactions? Do we speed it up by not making eye contact with strangers, instant messaging and having the majority of our interactions through a screen and keyboard? Do we arc it up by standing up for our brother, curb stomping pollution, and propagating conscious conversation? Do we arc it down by projecting our deficincies unto others, dumping chemicals in waterways if it makes us a buck and portraying infallibility grounded in low self esteem? Do me make it spin in an endless loop, when we don’t learn our lessons by making the same mistakes over and over again? Do we make it stop by being so narcisstic, that we refuse to fix problems until it’s too late, and we’ve passed the point of no return? We might not be the center of the universe, but we’re the center of our own. Once we realize all of us as inviduals, shouldn’t sweat ourselves or each other, because we make up the bigger picture that can only survive when we’re all interconnected, we’ll see that no matter how dark or chaotic life seems, we can always slow down, speed up or completely stop the moral arc of the universe, with our choices and consciousness levels. We endure an evolution of choice, even if we suffer from indecision. A conscious journey might be slow, but it’s how we enjoy each moment. If we speed through life, we’ll miss the writing on the wall. To stand or sit isn’t the question, to act or endlessly talk is.” 🙂
