From The Mind Of Critic-9/15/16

From the mind of critic: “If we love letting our freak flag fly because we think it’s the ultimate form of true expression, how come we roll our eyes and shake our heads when others hoist their freak flag? Do we believe the term freak is completely subjective, causing some people’s inner freak to look way, way different than ours, which in turn makes us think they’re detrimental to the evolution of our collective humanity? Or do we realize that when everybody flys their freak flag, it reveals the truest form of themselves, and when people are completely honest about who they are, the real conversation can begin? We all have fascets of ourselves we keep secret, and fascets we make public by voicing them. Maybe the less we’re scared to reveal our true nature, the more understanding, tolerant and accepting we’ll be when others reveal their true nature. Maybe revealing that true nature and the honest thoughts that spring forth, is the key for all of us to unite around what we already know we agree on, simply because the untrue bullshit that fogs over reasonable discourse will no longer be a factor. Letting the world know who we truly are doesn’t guarantee we’ll solve our ingrained and generational issues, but gives us the chance opening in the great wall we’ve been looking for. May we all let our freak flags fly, it may save the planet” 🙂
