From The Mind Of Critic-9/14/16

From the mind of critic: “Is life is like a hurdle race, where we’re sprinting to get to the end, while also jumping over obstacles? Is life like a marathion, where we’re still racing to get to the end, but pace ourselves along the way, so we don’t burn out early? Or is life like a decathalon, with many different events testing many different skills? One thing I’ve learned, is that nothing in life is black and white. The moment we think it is, something comes along to prove us wrong. Kinda like when we were teenagers and thought we knew everything. Nothing in life is guaranteed except change. The ever constantly and evolving grey area where most of us live, keeps us on our toes with obstacles, set in place by outside forces by ourselves. There are times when we undertsand where the finish line is, but we pace ourselves so we have a chance of reaching it. There are other times where we are pulled in 10 different directions, and wonder which way to go, because we can’t possibly go in every direction at the same time. What we must remember is, life is like an olympic games with ever changing and evolving events, that are added or taken away on a whim. As long as we prepare by being open and letting our light shine, we might not be 100% guaranteed a victory, success,or even any idea of what’s coming. But we can have guaranteed satisfaction, because we’re conscious of what’s authentically in front of us” 🙂
