From The Mind Of Critic-9/13/16

From the mind of critic: “If we don’t know where we’re going, but we sure know where we’ve been, do we atleast have a clue where we’re going? If we not only know where we’ve been, but also understand it’s historical implications, does it provide a road map? Is that road map an easily discernable and fully illuminated path forward? Or does the path within the road map only illuminate itself if we make the choice to see it, by using the historical implications of our past, to our advantage in the present day? We have all heard the old quote, that if we don’t learn the lessons of history, we’re doomed to repeat them. Once we come to a point in our lives where we actually wanna learn those lessons, we start theorizing what that would look like in our everyday lives. The theories we develop because we consciously and courageously wanna make the world a better place for all of us, is the exact road map we follow. We might not ever know 100% where we’re going, but we have a much better chance at figuring it out, if we consciously better our collective world by using the lessons of the past, to choose a better future” 🙂
