from the mind of critic-8/25/17

From the mind of critic: “When we’re frayed to the edges, and a million people want a million things from us sooner than yesterday, do we choose to do nothing, in interest of slowing down our out of control mind? Do we attempt everything, knowing we can’t accomplish it all, then get sad and depressed when we prove ourselves right? Do we pick and choose the things that will build us up, and leave everything else behind as just one more unsolicited advisors hot air? If there’s one thing we don’t need more of in this day and age, it’s more hot air. The climate, Trump and all matter of darkness is in great abundance, fraying us all to our core. Once we realize that our core is the deepest part of who we actually are, as oppossed to who we claim to be, we’ll see that the more we know ourselves, what we want, what mark we want to leave on the world and the kindness and gratitude that will get us there, the less anybody will fray us, no matter the temperature or the velocity of their hot air. We can’t ever do what a million people say. Will we choose to stay the same. or move forward?” 🙂
