From the mind of critic: “If we measure twice and cut once, are we guaranteed a perfect cut? Will the cut be more neat and accurate if a tape measure, or straight edge is used to measure? Does it matter what brand or implement we use to measure with, or just the experience, focus and integrity of the person doing the measuring? Preperation and action are completely symbiotic, one can not happen with out the other. We could prepare all day long for something, putting all the time we have into deciding how to prepare, why we prepare, what we prepare and where. 90% of our energy is utilized organizing and outlining every detail, that when we sit down to do the actual thing, we’re so tired from the prep,it feels like the work has already been done. Somethings need more prep than others before action, and that’s fine. We just can’t brainwash ourselves into thinking the prep is the work. We prep specifically so we can act, not to block us from doing so. We can measure twice, three times, hell even eight times, but if we don’t cut, there is not point ion measuring” 🙂
