From The Mind Of Critic-10/4/16

From the mind of critic: “If it’s the darkest right before the dawn, is it the lightest right before the dark? Is there even a difference between saying it gets really bad before it gets really good, and saying it gets really good before it gets really bad? Or is it just something we tell ourselves because we’ve become experts at self-sabotage, thinking nothing good can happen unless something more terrible happens right after? We’ve all had times in our life when it seem like nothing can work out, when we get let down time after time after time, sometimes because of our own doing, and sometimes not. This can make it extremely hard to think not only positive about all the things to come, but also gratitude for eveyrthing we have. However, whether we have to fake it till we make it, or simply put in extra effort to make ourselves think that way, it will seem strange at first because it’s something out of the ordinary that seems forced. But the more we do it, the more we will get used to it as just something we normally do. Whether its dark before the dawn or dawn before the dark, light will only appear if we allow it to” 🙂
