From The Mind Of Critic-9/23/16

From the mind of critic: “If we believe ourselves to be informed consumers, who shop around so we can get the best value of what we’re trying to procure, do we use the same method when trying to find an avenue to make positive change? Do we hunt and search for ways to make a big statement, spend all this time and effort setting it up, and then just go home afterwards? Or do we search for ways to help all of humanity long term, so 7 generations down the line they’ll look back at us, and say I’m glad they did something that actaully fixed the problem, and didn’t just make a statement? There are many things we could be doing on a daily basis to make our lives better. If we spend six months looking for a car and checking out all the specs, maybe we could use the same tenacity when searching for methods for making positive, and long lasting change. If we use coupons, wait for half price sales or buy one get free, we make the most out of what we have, so it has the longest lasting effect. Once we realize we have the talent and the ability in our toolkit, we’ll see we can make all our collective dreams come true because we are not only informed consumers, but informed humans as well. We must choose the right method, and then just go for it. We can find the right solutions, we just have to take some time to flush them out” 🙂
