from the mind of critic: 1/9/19

From the mind of critic:       “If we wont find the true answers we’re looking for until we die, what do we do in the meantime? Do we wander aimlessly because everything is chaos, and answers won’t come till the end? Do we keep asking question after question, knowing the true answer we seek won’t come till the end, but if we keep asking, maybe we’ll get clues that will lead us in the right direction? After we find these clues, will we discover some answers but not “the answers”, or do we find that these answers could be “the answers”, just depends on our perspective? Sometimes questions lead to answers, but usually lead to more questions, not because answers aren’t authentic, but because gaining knowledge, only make us realize there’s so much more out there. Given that, the more we deepen our understanding of life and the world around us, we realize that “the answers” don’t exist. Not only do they change from person to person, but as we gain knowledge and life experience, we become more mindful about what’s around us. We get bits and pieces of what we seek, and may receive all if we concentrate enough, but nothing is a guarantee. Waiting till the end to get answers, can be us shirking our responsibilities in the here and now. For if true knowledge doesn’t arrive until we’re dead, what’s the point of gaining it now? The point is to bring meaning and joy to our life, because the more we learn now, the more we see the idea of “the answer” as completely subjective. The more we know, the more we find out we don’t know. However, don’t we want to know something, instead of being drones to endlessly false claims? Finding ourself takes a while, because our search constantly evolves. Wandering around is useful, if we keep our eyes open. Truly defining life is a journey and not a destination, gives our life meaning. Learning new things may lead us in new directions, which are only scary if we walk blindly. If ours search has proved long, joy, experience and lessons keep us moving.”
