From the mind of critic: “If a celebrity we’ve always admired and respected turns out to be amonster, after the accuser finnaly comes out to tell their story, not because all the people the accuser told spoke up, what do we do? If actors and movies on our list of favorites define not who we are, but what we use as comparison for other pieces of art, but are proven to be the aboritions of a child raper, what do we do? Does power and money always corrupt, or is it a case by case basis? The way some people felt about Bill Cosby when his allegations surfaced, was the same way I felt about Kevin Spacey, what the fuck man, seriously? Usual Suspects, American Beauty, House of Cards and many other tv shows and movies, I cant bring myself to watch anymore. This may sound like a first world problem, to watch an idol fall from grace, ofcourse not nearly as big a problem as it is for the 14 year old boy he forced himself on. If anything good can be gleaned, it’s that this shit won’t be tolerated anymore. I will never willfully watch anything with him again. Not all celebrities are rapists and pedophiles right? Oh yeah, and fuck Kevin Spacey, he gives real actors a bad name. He needs to be put in gen pop somehwere so he can get a personal tour of what is done to child rapers in prison. It is possible to make it in Hollywood and not be a sexual criminal, right?” 🙂
