from the mind of critic-5/31/18

From the mind of critic: “If we want it all and we want it now, could we gain even more if we waited? Would our allotment increase if we waited for the right moment, where everything falls into place and we don’t have to lift a finger? Would our share increase if we put in the required work, because we know what we’re due, and know how much less we’ll get if we accept before all the work is done? Is our only guaranteed share what’s currently in front of our faces, because although we may gain more by waiting or putting in work, it’s only a projection of what could if everything goes as planned? The fact that some of us want everything and sooner than now but yesterday, makes our fast food, social media, selfie stick culture more impersonal. Now not all of us buy in, some still have face to face conversations, wave at people walking down the street, sometimes even letters are written. The more we grow impersonal, the more self centered and narcisstic we become. This causes us to not only want everything we’re due, but also eveyrthing due everybody else as well. Once we realize we can’t have everything because we don’t deserve everything, nor would we want it if it showed up on our doorstep, we’ll see we don’t need everything to be happy, we simply need to feed our soul, which brings us the long term joy we truly crave. Wanting everything, deletes motivation to move forward. We may not get everything we want, but if we try sometimes, we just might find, we get what we need. Seeing eachother in ourselves, prevents us from wanting mroe than we’re due. Interpersonal communication, makes life brighter than any one person ever could.” 🙂
